Amika Mobile's award-winning platform, the Amika Mobility Server (AMS), which provides critical and emergency communications, has been integrated with the new Nextiva® SMC™, a Situation Management Center solution, from Verint® Systems Inc.

"We are pleased to be showing the integration of Verint's Nextiva SMC solution with the AMS critical and emergency communications platform," said Amika Mobile CEO Dr. Sue Abu-Hakima. "Organizations today require an integrated security and emergency communication platform that can help plan for threats, better train in case of emergency, and provide the intelligence to respond quickly in critical situations."

"Verint is excited to collaborate with Amika Mobile to expand the capabilities of our Nextiva SMC solution," added Eran Wachman, vice president, product management, Verint Video and Situation Intelligence Solutions. "Using the Amika Mobility Server, organizations can leverage multiple networks, including mobile device and social networks, to obtain key information pertaining to urgent situations and immediately respond."

The integrated solution will enable enterprises, critical infrastructure organizations and city-wide operations to monitor events from physical systems, such as cameras, access controls, gunshot sensors and fire systems. Leveraging this information, organizations can increase preparedness around such threats as bombs, shootings, natural disasters and fires. The integrated solution will be demonstrated at ISC West in Las Vegas, April 2-4 during ISC West 2014 in Las Vegas at Verint Booth #30056 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center.
