Iveda Recruits Cory Miller as Vice President of Business Development

MESA, ARIZ.--(Marketwired - Apr 2, 2014) - Iveda® (OTCQB: IVDA), the pioneer in cloud video hosting technology, today announced that Cory Miller has joined the Company's management team as vice president of business development.

"Cory's proven business development skills and experience in the SaaS and VoIP market space made her perfect for this newly created management position," stated David Ly, chairman and CEO of Iveda. "We believe timing is everything. Cory will work to fulfill various domestic and international business opportunities that Iveda has nurtured over the last several months, while leveraging her own network to drive our growth. We consider this a 'win-win' situation for Iveda, Cory and our customers."

Prior to Iveda, Miller developed and executed the overall strategic plan for C3IP Communications, a provider of business-class VoIP services and solutions. As CEO, she was responsible for the performance and management of sales, marketing, technical support and business support functions. Miller was also the executive director of the Southwest Council of Tech America (formerly the American Electronics Association/AeA). Tech America is the largest and oldest high-tech trade association in the United States. In her role, she worked closely with C-Level executives at high-technology companies throughout the region. Miller also represented the interests of the regional high-tech industry to legislators and officials at the local, state and federal levels of government. She also worked with Tech America's international trade policy specialists to strengthen the voice of Southwest-based companies in shaping trade regulation and export controls.

Previously, Miller was director of sales at trainAbility (tA), a high-tech software and services firm. She built and managed a multi-tiered sales organization responsible for developing business with Fortune 1000 companies and government agencies. Miller had full budget, forecasting and cash management responsibility at tA.

"I have spent my career building relationships between technology buyers and sellers," said Cory Miller. "The hallmarks of a winning technology company like Iveda include smart talent, a competitive and differentiated product, and a service-oriented bias for solving customer problems. These hallmarks are consistent with my management experience, which ranges from running regional operations for one of the largest technology trade associations to serving as CEO of an innovative IP (Internet Protocol) telephony company. I'm looking forward to the leveraging of my network and expertise to bring Iveda's solutions to the markets needing them most."

Miller served on the Arizona Governor's Council for Innovation and Technology, where she was a member of the Telecommunications Infrastructure Sub-Committee. She was named one of Phoenix's "Forty Under 40", wherein the Phoenix Business Journal honors the top forty emerging leaders under the age of 40, and was named one of the "Valley Influential." Miller was also appointed to the National Visiting Committee by the National Science Foundation for the "Work Ready Electronics" program.

Miller is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Loyola Marymount University.
