OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 14, 2014) - Correction to the Media Advisory sent earlier today. Note that the times of the Media Centre have changed

Visitation

The visitation will take place at the Abilities Centre, 55 Gordon Street, Whitby, on Tuesday, April 15, from 12:30 to 4 p.m. and from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Coverage will be restricted to a pool photo opportunity and further details will be shared during the media briefing.

State Funeral

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, at St. James' Cathedral, 65 Church Street (at King), Toronto.

Accreditation

All media representatives who wish to cover the State Funeral of the late Honourable Jim Flaherty must be accredited and obtain an ID card.

The application for accreditation can be accessed online at accreditationcanada.gc.ca as of Monday, April 14 at noon. All sections of the application must be completed.

The media representatives that will receive accreditation can obtain their ID card and further details at the media centre (Fairmont Royal York):

Monday, April 14 - 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Tuesday, April 15 - 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Wednesday, April 16 - 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
