Decision Lens' Year-Over-Year Quarterly Sales Growth Spikes to 1400%

Record Growth Attributed to Significant Account Wins in the Agro Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Defense and Transportation Markets

ARLINGTON, VA--(Marketwired - Apr 14, 2014) - Decision Lens, the leading provider of cloud-based prioritization and resource optimization software, announced today that it has hit a new milestone by generating the highest 1st quarter new sales ever in the company's history, marking a nearly 1400% increase in comparison to the same quarter in 2013. Record-setting sales were fueled by an exponential increase in new business via clients such as Johnson & Johnson, the US Department of Veterans Affairs, and New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority among others. The company also experienced a similar increase in its professional services. The resulting performance is rooted in significant improvements in visualization and data analytics to Decision Lens' platform and products introduced last year.

This news follows on the heels of Decision Lens announcing 2013 accomplishments:

  • Tripled its investments in products, services, and training to support customer expansion.
  • Completed the largest single license sale in its history in 2013.
  • Expanded the executive management team with an award-winning technology CFO and an industry leading Senior Vice President of Sales with experience from Oracle, SAP, and PeopleSoft.
  • Saw 80% employee growth at Decision Lens.
  • Strategically relocated and doubled its Virginia headquarters to 20,000 sq.ft

"The quadruple digit growth in sales we experienced last quarter is a direct result of the industry wide need that enterprise level organizations have for a one-of-a-kind platform like ours that allows decision makers to take the most rigorous, collaborative, and analytical approach to strategic prioritization and resource optimization," said John Kealey, CEO of Decision Lens. "Simply put, Decision Lens fills a business void that no other vendor can deliver."

"Our first quarter of the year's unprecedented growth across the board demonstrated the genuine need both in large enterprises and in government entities who seek insight and transparency to make the most informed decisions relating to everything from billion dollar budgets to nationwide transportation projects, to what new products to invest in to drive business growth," said John Kealey, CEO of Decision Lens. "Over the course of the next two years our mission is to make Decision Lens into the de facto standard for decision making within large enterprises and government entities."

The company serves numerous well-known commercial clients including Kraft, Genentech, Johnson & Johnson, Boeing, and Shell, among other organizations. Decision Lens software also is used widely throughout the Federal government with clients in the US Navy, the Joint Staff and USDA, and in state and local organizations including PennDOT, California Technology Agency, SFMTA, and UTA among many others.
