Government of Canada announces funding for the Chilliwack Arts and Cultural Centre Society
CHILLIWACK, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - April 15, 2014) - Department of Canadian Heritage
Multi-year funding of $20,000 will support the Chilliwack Cultural Centre's 2014 and 2015 performing arts series. The Centre will receive $10,000 in 2014-2015 and $10,000 in 2015-2016 through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund.
This funding was announced today by Mark Strahl, Member of Parliament (Chilliwack-Fraser Canyon), on behalf of Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages Shelly Glover.
Support will enable the Centre-the primary arts presenter in Chilliwack-to present a range of disciplines including theatre, dance, music, and comedy.
