Former Veritas Executive Joe Julian Joins Catavolt Board of Directors

Leading Mobile App Development Provider Continues to Expand Its Board and Management Ranks With Addition of Experienced Software Sales Leader

ALPHARETTA, GA--(Marketwired - Apr 16, 2014) - Catavolt, Inc. today announced that Joe Julian, former Senior Vice President of Americas Sales and Global Accounts for Veritas Software Corporation, has been named to the company's board of directors.

Julian, who heads his own consulting company, brings strong credentials as a technology company sales leader to the Catavolt board following the company's expansion of its sales and marketing teams last fall.

"Joe has tremendous experience and insight in helping emerging technology companies develop and execute sales strategies, particularly in the enterprise software market," said Fran Dramis, former BellSouth CIO and chairman of the Catavolt board of directors.

During his tenure at Veritas, Julian managed the sales, pre-sales, and support renewal operations for all products in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. In addition, he was responsible for the launch of Veritas' Worldwide Global Accounts Program & their first National Accounts program in the United States. Veritas was acquired by Symantec in July 2005.

"With its highly innovative technology, Catavolt's enterprise application mobility platform is increasingly finding wide acceptance amongst major corporations that need the ability to quickly create and deliver mobile apps to their workforces," said Julian, who also serves on the board of directors of Permabit in Cambridge, Mass., and the advisory board of Salesify in Redwood City, Calif.

Julian's appointment follows Catavolt's recent expansion of its sales, product and marketing teams, as well as the recent election of Fran Dramis to chairman of the board of directors. In recent months, Catavolt has announced integration with popular Enterprise Mobility Management and Mobile Device Management platforms from AirWatch and Citrix. The company also recently introduced Version 3 of its platform, showcased at Interop 2014 in Las Vegas.
