Government of Canada supports the first Symposium for the Performing Arts in Rural Communities
HALIBURTON, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 22, 2014) - Department of Canadian Heritage
The Government of Canada has provided $40,000 to the Arts Council-Haliburton Highlands through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund to support the first ever Symposium for the Performing Arts in Rural Communities (SPARC). The Symposium will be held April 24 to 27, 2014, at various locations in Haliburton County.
The announcement was made today by Barry Devolin, Member of Parliament (Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock), on behalf of Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages Shelly Glover.
