Patients are now able to install ALRT's software onto their Mac computers, upload the blood glucose data from their meters1, and have their data trends tracked online by ALRT's Diabetes Care Facilitators and other members of a patient's care team. Mac compatibility represents a significant opportunity for many Mac-using patients with diabetes, as monitoring software for some of the major glucose meters brands is compatible only with Windows-based computers.
