SAINT-SAUVEUR, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - May 12, 2014) - Department of Canadian Heritage
The Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, Shelly Glover, today announced $60,000 in funding for the 18th annual Festival des arts de Saint-Sauveur, to be held from July 31 to August 9, 2014.
This investment, provided through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund, will allow the Festival to showcase the talents of some sixty artists from Quebec, other parts of Canada and other countries by staging fifteen or more performances of classical music, ballet and contemporary dance.

- Some 25,000 people take part every year in the activities offered by the Festival des arts de Saint-Sauveur.
- The Festival includes a strong youth-awareness component. A special one-day event, Tohu Bohu, features activities such as free dance lessons and workshops given by professional and emerging artists.
