MacAulay-Brown, Inc. to Demonstrate Innovative Tradecraft Solutions at the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference

Company Also Spotlights its More than 20 Years Experience Providing Technology-based Services to the SOF Community

DAYTON, Ohio, May 12, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company delivering advanced engineering services and product solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Special Operations Forces, Homeland Security and Federal agencies, announced today that it will demonstrate its innovative tradecraft solutions at the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC). The event will be held at the Tampa Convention Center, May 20-22.

"We are very proud of the decades-long partnership we have built with the SOF community," said Sid Fuchs, President and CEO of MacB. "As we attend SOFIC next week, we do so with an eye on engaging in discussions that ensure the services and product solutions we deliver exceed the community's dynamic mission requirements."

Specific MacB solutions that will be demonstrated at SOFIC include:

Customized Slot Array Antenna: High performance in a small footprint and thin form factor for low profile applications. Quick turn prototypes are facilitated using in-house engineering resources, labs and manufacturing, reducing development time by a factor of ten.

Antenna Positioner: Customized low profile antenna positioners incorporate GPS, tilt sensor and digital compass with a secure cloud-based interface to ensure extreme accuracy. Signal survey/sweep features in the software make it easy to use the positioner for custom frequency scans.

LDS Camera: Customized high resolution imaging solution that delivers 360 degree coverage of any environment. Ideal for HUMINT, perimeter control, area assessment and special reconnaissance missions, the cameras can be quickly designed and assembled in a classified facility.

Powerpuck™ Battery Module: Attaching directly to military grade batteries, the Powerpuck delivers much needed power and the ability to recharge critical equipment in any environment. Standard USB and two-pin Lemo and Tajimi jacks ensure connections to most military and commercial devices.

Rotational Molding: Fully embed electronics into virtually any type of plastic enclosure. Based on a patent-pending system and process, the Rotational Molding service is ideal for specialized sensor packages, inventory control, health monitoring, embedding critical data and anti-tamper.

In addition to demonstrating the solutions above, MacB will be highlighting its partnership with the SOF community. Senior executives will be discussing the company's more than 20 years of experience of providing technology-based services to the Special Operations community.

Through its recent acquisition of Commonwealth Technology, Inc. (CTI), MacB now offers an innovative line of tradecraft solutions that can be quickly designed and developed to support dynamic and immediate mission requirements. With production facilities in Northern Virginia, the company's cleared personnel are supported by skilled machinists, technicians and craftsmen. For more information, click here.
