HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - May 13, 2014) - Condrey Corporation announced today, at the Microsoft TechEd North America conference, the upcoming release of Senergy 4.0 -- including a new framework for managing data across systems through platform-specific Senergy Paks, the first of which being the Senergy Pak for Education that automatically creates virtual classrooms in Office 365 SharePoint Online for K-12 and higher education organizations.
John Sellgren, Director of Information Services at Hurst Euless Bedford Independent School District, got an early look at the Synergy Pak for Education and was impressed with its ability to automatically provision SharePoint Online class site collections. Formerly known as "File System Factory," Senergy was renamed to signify the expansion beyond the product's Microsoft network file system automation and management capabilities that targets on-premises servers and storage. The virtual classroom connects the teachers and students, enabling teachers to hand out assignments, post to the class calendar, receive turned-in homework securely, post resources, and lead online discussions. Students can securely retrieve and turn in assignments, participate in online discussions, access resources, and more. Additionally, each student is automatically linked to all of his or her SharePoint Online virtual classrooms on the student's My Site in SharePoint Online.
