Enterprise Software Sales Leader Dave Garcia Joins AutoGrid Systems as Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations

Exec Brings Over 17 Years of Enterprise Sales Experience to Rapidly Growing Software Company to Accelerate Adoption of Its Energy Analytics Offerings


REDWOOD SHORES, CA--(Marketwired - May 13, 2014) - AutoGrid Systems, a leader in Big Data analytics and cloud computing solutions for the energy industry, announced today that Dave Garcia has been appointed Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations.

In this role Dave will have global responsibility for AutoGrid's direct sales, channel sales, strategic partnerships, pre-sales, sales operations and professional services. Dave will be building a world class direct and inside sales team to complement AutoGrid's channel partner strategy as the company continues rapid growth in both domestic and international markets.

Dave brings to AutoGrid a solid track record of building high performing teams and fostering strong customer relationships. As VP of Sales at SAP, he managed mission-critical applications and professional services. Prior, Dave drove 20% year-over-year growth as VP of Sales and Alliances for Datango, an internationally based company, which was acquired by SAP. Dave has also held sales leadership positions at Softscape and OnDemand Software, which was acquired by Oracle.
