2014 DEKALB(R) Seed for Yourself Yield Challenge


WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwired - May 16, 2014) - DEKALB® brand seed growers are invited once again to enter the DEKALB Seed for Yourself Yield Challenge. This challenge is open to farmers, from Manitoba east to Prince Edward Island, who grow at least ten acres of DEKALB corn or soybeans.

Growers with the highest yielding corn or beans, within their specific maturity zone, will be eligible to win an all-inclusive trip for two to Club Med Sandpiper Bay, Port St Lucia, Florida, February 21 to 28, 2015. This trip is valued at approximately $4,000.

One corn winner and one soybean winner will be chosen from each of the maturity zones listed below:

Growers cannot win both the corn and soybean prize for their maturity zone.

A 10-acre field minimum is required and harvest bushels must be a minimum of 1.5 acres within the same field. A DEKALB dealer or DEKALB representative must be present at time of weigh off and yield of harvested bushels must be corrected to13% moisture for soybeans and 15.5% moisture for corn.
