Lilee Systems Appoints Rail/Transit Industry Veteran Dave Gove to Key Business Development Role

Leading Provider of Advanced Communications Systems for the Rail Industry Announces Expansion of Executive Team as It Heads Into RSSI C&S Exhibition

SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwired - May 21, 2014) - Lilee Systems, the leading provider of advanced communication systems designed exclusively for the railroad and rail transit industry, today announced that Dave Gove has joined the company to lead Business Development. Gove's primary focus will be to identify product and technology adoption opportunities for strategic growth in freight railroads. This news follows a recent executive announcement that Lele Nardin, formerly of PLUMgrid, has joined Lilee Systems as Vice President of Engineering.

Gove brings more than 15 years of rail industry experience to Lilee Systems. For the past six years he has been developing CTC/PTC systems infrastructure for TPSC/ARMS, a leading provider of distribution and system integration for the railroad industry.

"This is a critical time in Lilee's history, as we continue to position the company to serve the rail industry's PTC requirements," said Kevin Nichter, vice president, rail products and services, Lilee Systems. "Dave brings a wealth of technical knowledge and rail market expertise, making him a valuable asset to the team as we capitalize on strategic opportunities to expand the company's growth and position in the marketplace."

Lilee Systems Joins Alstom at RSSI
Lilee Systems will join Alstom Transportation, a global leader in rail signaling and safety systems and rail infrastructure, at the 54th Annual RSSI C&S Exhibition, at booth # 402. The largest trade show for the rail industry, RSSI expects more than 1,370 attendees and 180 exhibitors. Hosted by Railway Systems Suppliers, Inc. a trade association serving the communication and signal segment of the rail transportation industry, RSSI is comprised of more than 240 member companies. The exhibition provides the opportunity for railroaders to keep pace with the rapid rate of technological change and to problem-solve with communication-and-signal professionals.

In September, Lilee Systems and Alstom announced the joint launch of a new, first-of-its-kind suite of interoperable Positive Train Control (PTC) products for rail lines. Combining their respective expertise in advanced communications systems and rail signaling technologies, the two companies have developed an Interoperable Train Control (ITC) solution that for the first time offers the industry a Wayside Interface Unit with Systems Management Agent (SMA) functionality.

The companies will demonstrate their current offering during the RSSI S&C Exhibition, May 20-22, 2014 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, TN.
