Siluria Technologies Names Jeffrey P. Wood EVP, CFO

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - May 28, 2014) - Siluria Technologies, a pioneer in the commercial production of fuels and chemicals made from clean and abundant natural gas, announced today the appointment of Jeffrey P. Wood to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective June 9, 2014. Wood will oversee Siluria's financial strategies, as well as manage the company's external communications, accounting and human resources functions. Wood will also take a key strategic role in expanding Siluria's midstream business platform.

Wood will join Siluria from Eagle Rock Energy Partners, a publicly-traded master limited partnership with upstream and midstream operations, where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Eagle Rock, Wood spent 11 years at Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. in a number of investment banking and investment management positions. Wood started his career in public accounting with Price Waterhouse LLP. He has a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago: Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University.

"We are thrilled to have Jeff join our team. His experience in finance and strategic advisory, along with his knowledge of the midstream and upstream businesses, make him an ideal addition to the Siluria team," said Siluria CEO Ed Dineen. "Jeff's experience is particularly valuable given that Siluria is in active partnering discussions to bring its disruptive natural gas-to-liquids technology to the midstream sector."

"I am very excited to join Siluria at this pivotal time as it transitions from a technology company to a commercial energy and chemicals company," said Wood. "It is a great team with breakthrough technology, and a tremendous overall opportunity."
