New TV Spots Demonstrate How "...Real People Will Really Be Hurt..." by Tim Hudak's Cuts, Says the Campaign for Public Education

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - June 3, 2014) - The Campaign for Public Education is proud to release its contribution to the public discourse on which party leader and provincial party can best protect the services enjoyed by our seniors, families and children. The three 30 second videos will be seen on CITY TV and OMNI TV (see attached schedule).

"Everyone has been talking about the 100,000 civil services job cuts and the 10,000 jobs that will be carved out education, but the real story is with what will happen in our community," said Katie McGovern, long-standing member of the Campaign.

"The chops here and chops there cause a ripple effect and real people will really be hurt, as will the social health of the communities," she concluded.

Stephen Seaborn, coordinator of the Campaign for Public Education, pointed out, "The financial health of small business, shops and personal services are in jeopardy. When families are forced to tighten their belts, purchasing power dries up and then even more families are affected."
