Government of Canada Hails Inauguration of Main Clubhouse at Club de Golf Revermont

The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, welcomes the official inauguration of the recently-renovated main clubhouse at Club de golf Revermont, a building that serves as a gathering place for the region's golfers and residents alike.

Funding was granted to Club de golf Revermont for this project in the form of a $200,000 non-repayable contribution through Canada Economic Development's Community Infrastructure Improvement Fund.

Quick facts

  • The golf club's project involved expanding the main clubhouse, upgrading and reconfiguring the restrooms, kitchen and storage rooms, and bringing various installations, including the air conditioning and electrical systems, up to standard.
  • The main clubhouse is now better adapted to the needs of golfers and more suitable for social, family and recreational activities for residents of the region.
