MedHOK Named a Preferred Vendor by the Association of Community Affiliated Plans

TAMPA, FL--(Marketwired - Jun 23, 2014) - MedHOK (Medical House of Knowledge), a leader in providing a single platform for care, quality and compliance for health plans, PBMs and other risk-bearing entities, announced that it has earned Preferred Vendor status with the Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP) which represents 58 not-for-profit Safety Net Health Plans in 24 states.

The ACAP Preferred Vendor Program provides streamlined access to pre-qualified vendors in areas of interest specific to ACAP plans and their membership. Each vendor must be recommended by an ACAP member plan and then reviewed by ACAP Board members for service levels. MedHOK currently has three ACAP plans as clients.

"ACAP is pleased that MedHOK has joined the circle of Preferred Vendors. ACAP Preferred Vendors such as MedHOK have specific insight into the unique needs of ACAP Safety Net Health Plans. Each organization has been sponsored by one ACAP plan and approved by all," said Meg Murray, CEO, ACAP.

"MedHOK is honored to be named a Preferred Vendor to ACAP," said Anil Kottoor, President and CEO of MedHOK. "MedHOK's Care, Quality, and Compliance platform aligns well with ACAP health plans' strategy of improving the experience and quality outcomes for their nearly 12 million members. If you can put the members' perspective in the middle of health care, member satisfaction and quality outcomes improve."
