He brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry and his appointment follows a half-million dollar renovation at the Charlotte Arrowood hotel, including a total redesign of the lobby and updates to the hotel's guest rooms.

Born and raised in Chicago, Steve graduated from Roosevelt University with a Bachelor's in Hospitality Management. He's gained invaluable experience during his time at Residence Inn by Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott, and Hilton, and has spent the majority of his Marriott career in Austin, Texas and the San Francisco Bay area. His philosophy is to take care of his associates, so that his associates are better able to take care of hotel guests and attend to their varied needs.

The announcement of Steve's appointment follows a brand new transformation at the hotel. The recent renovation spanned over a half million dollars, including a complete redesign of the lobby, opening it up to form a more modern space, and offering a breakfast space for guests to savor every morning.
