Renaissance Washington, DC Dupont Circle Hotel Celebrates the Third Annual Global Day of Discovery

The Day of Discovery celebration officially kicks off Renaissance Hotels' Summer of Discovery calendar, a summer-long program of exclusive events more than 150 hotels around the world designed to help travelers experience the best discoveries of the season. 

This year, the Dupont Circle Renaissance hotel near GWU is celebrating with an evening of discovery benefitting Boys Town of Washington, DC. Guests are invited to unleash their inner artist with ArtJamz, and get creative for a great cause, with an evening full of boozy shakes, passed hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, ice cream and a live DJ to help raise funds for Boys Town DC.

ArtJamz is a jamming non-profit dedicated to making the lives of local children and families in Washington, DC better through Foster Family Services, and in-house family services. In partnership with the Renaissance Hotel in downtown DC, ArtJamz is hosting an unforgettable ice cream social for this year's Day of Discovery, including complimentary cocktails, shakes and smoothies.

Each guest's ticket includes art canvas, art materials, acrylic easel, smock rental and direction and guidance from friendly art-trained creative enablers. This year's event is $75 per person and $120 per couple. Registered painters may bring an additional non-painter for just $45.

The event all takes place in one of DC's most stylish and creative art-loving restaurant and lounge combos, M Brassiere and M Bar, and painters are encouraged and welcomed to paint whatever they like. Inspiration will be served via wine, beer, and champagne in the artist's lounge, making for an evening of inspired creativity and new discoveries.
