A Rising Star in Surfing

MISSION, KS--(Marketwired - Jun 30, 2014) - (Family Features) After a record shattering amateur career, Honolulu native Carissa Moore became the youngest surfer ever to become a World Champion at just 18 years old. Two years later, at the age of 20, she did it again. Now, at the mid-point of the 2014 surfing season, Carissa currently sits in first place with her eyes focused firmly on nailing down a third World Title.

Following her inspiration
Winning a World Title is no easy feat, so Moore looks to her family, her loyal dog, and her boyfriend for inspiration. Not surprisingly, she also finds inspiration in her fellow surfers.
