TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - July 10, 2014) - Media are invited to the Change of Command Ceremony to mark to the transfer of command of 4th Canadian Division from Brigadier-General (Brig.-Gen) Omer Lavoie to Brig.-Gen Lowell Thomas. The ceremony will take place on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the LCol George Taylor Denison III Armoury.

4th Canadian Division is the Canadian Army in the majority of Ontario. The mission of 4 Cdn Div is to generate and maintain, at designated states of readiness, combat capable, multi-purpose land forces to meet Canada's defence objectives, both at home and abroad.

When: Friday, July 11, 2014, 7:00 p.m.
