Calian Technologies Ltd. (TSX:CTY) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a renewal contract valued at $17.6M by the Department of National Defence (DND) for the provision of professional services for course design, course management, and course delivery of training to military personnel as well as administrative support to the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Technology and Engineering (CFSATE) in Borden, Ontario. The renewal contract starts in August 2014 and will run at current revenue levels for approximately 2 years.

Calian has been providing technical and professional personnel to carry out instructional services for aircraft maintenance and repair, engineering services, training support and maintenance services, general administrative and information support services since October 2004. Calian will remain a key contributor to the training efforts of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), by helping to develop qualified personnel who ensure aircraft serviceability.
