Inaugural Report Shows High Awareness and Importance but Uneven Adoption and Use Across Market Segments and Functions


NASHUA, NH--(Marketwired - Jul 22, 2014) - Dresner Advisory Services today issued a new report on Advanced and Predictive Analytics, defined as the use of statistics, modeling, machine learning, and data mining to analyze facts and make predictions about future, or otherwise unknown, events. The first edition of the Advanced and Predictive Analytics Market Study was written in collaboration with industry expert Neil Raden. The report showed that while many of these tools have been available for decades, as a whole they are still in the early stages of deployment. Less than 30 percent of the respondents show Advanced and Predictive Analytics tools deployed within their organizations, with another 30 percent planning to deploy it in the next 18 months.
