Artistic Activities at the 9th Dieppe Harvest Festival: Government of Canada Supports Really Local Harvest


DIEPPE, NEW BRUNSWICK--(Marketwired - July 24, 2014) - Department of Canadian Heritage

Robert Goguen, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Justice and Member of Parliament (Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe), today announced funding of $5,800 for the Really Local Harvest Co-Op under the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program. He made the announcement on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

The funding will support the 9th Harvest Festival, which will be held in Dieppe from September 12 to 14, 2014. The Really Local Harvest Co-Op is an organization that works to promote the development of sustainable agriculture in the region. The Harvest Festival offers both food features and artistic activities, including concerts by local artists and cooking demonstrations emphasizing local foods.
