UL Workplace Health & Safety Launches OHM 7.6

Updated OHM Platform Features Supervisor Portal That Increases Compliance and Productivity, and Novel Reporting Tools That Enhance Understanding of Employee Health Trends

FRANKLIN, TN--(Marketwired - Aug 11, 2014) - UL Workplace Health & Safety, the industry's leading provider of workplace health and safety solutions, today launched the newest version of its occupational health management software platform, OHM. OHM 7.6 includes new features and enhanced functions that can help health, safety, and medical professionals operate more efficiently and better promote workplace health and safety.

In addition to improved functionality, OHM 7.6 offers a new Supervisor Portal and an advanced reporting and dashboard query tool. The Supervisor Portal allows supervisors to manage employee compliance with required surveillances. OHM 7.6's reporting and dashboard query tool gives organizations the ability to better understand their employee health trends by providing a simple way to instantly generate customized reports.

"The OHM platform provides organizations access to real-time data and unique tools that can dramatically enhance their ability to ensure the health of their employees," said Bill Grana, president of UL Workplace Health & Safety. "A number of OHM 7.6's new features are a result of feedback we have received from our clients, industry partners, and medical advisory board members. This new version will help health, safety, and medical professionals streamline and improve both their occupational health operations and workforce health in exciting new ways."

UL Workplace Health & Safety's OHM is a full-service platform that includes a suite of tools for medical surveillance, case management, vaccinations and immunization programs, and seamless compliance reporting. It streamlines workflows and integrates occupational health information in one system, helping organizations identify workplace trends and costs and manage all of their occupational health and safety needs.

New features in OHM 7.6 include:

  • Supervisor Portal: The Supervisor Portal is an expansion of OHM's Health Portal, which gives employees direct access to appointment scheduling, immunization records and consent forms, and questionnaires, increasing process efficiencies and reducing administrative costs. The Supervisor Portal helps supervisors to monitor clinic-related activity, schedule appointments for employees, and manage organizational health and safety compliance in real time. It includes a Compliance Dashboard that allows supervisors to view compliance rates, job restrictions and accommodations, and respirator fit test results to help ensure that employees are wearing the correct mask/respirator.

  • Dashboard Query Tool: A top request from customers, the new Dashboard Query Tool allows organizations to create queries for instant, customized reporting. The flexible reporting places an organization's data at its fingertips, allowing effortless manipulation and outputs tailored to any need.

  • Usability Enhancements: OHM 7.6 features a number of improvements based on user feedback that enhance the usability of the software and improve workflow efficiency and effectiveness. It includes enhancements in creating and revising consent forms, accommodations for full-length ICD-10 codes, and redesigned report layouts with additional filters for greater organization.

The added functionality of OHM 7.6 allows organizations to customize the software solution for their specific needs. Building off the platform's robust functionality, the new Supervisor Portal, Dashboard Query Tool and usability enhancements provide for greater efficiency and effectiveness in promoting workplace health and safety.
