Bowls Canada Boulingrin receives Government of Canada funding
WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwired - Aug. 18, 2014) - Department of Canadian Heritage
Joy Smith, Member of Parliament (Kildonan-St. Paul), on behalf of the Honourable Bal Gosal, Minister of State (Sport), today announced up to $204,500 in funding for Bowls Canada Boulingrin. This funding, provided through Sport Canada's Sport Support Program, supports the organization in delivering sport programming and developing the sport of lawn bowls in Canada. This funding was announced at the opening ceremony of the 2014 Canadian Lawn Bowling Championships.
