Not Guilty Verdict in Terrorism Case

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Aug. 19, 2014) - Today in Ontario Superior Court, Khurram Syed Sher, 32, was found not guilty of conspiring to facilitate a terrorist activity, contrary to section 83.19 of the Criminal Code.

The PPSC has 30 days to review the decision and decide whether it will seek to appeal.

A publication ban remains in effect in this matter.
