Government of Canada supports 16th annual Sur le Chemin des Artisans
THETFORD MINES, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Aug. 21, 2014) - Department of Canadian Heritage
The Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister of International Development, Minister for La Francophonie and Member of Parliament (Mégantic-L'Érable), today announced $12,500 in funding for the 16th annual Sur le Chemin des Artisans. Minister Paradis made this announcement on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages. This funding is granted under the Local Festivals component of the Building Communities through Arts and Heritage program.
The event, scheduled for September 20 to 28, 2014, will showcase the handicrafts and heritage of the Chaudière-Appalaches region.
