John Dyer Joins AMERICAN SYSTEMS as Vice President/Director, Organizational Development/Knowledge Management (ODKM)

Former CEO of Baronian Consulting Group to Bolster Growth and Business Opportunities

CHANTILLY, VA--(Marketwired - Aug 26, 2014) - AMERICAN SYSTEMS, a leading provider of government IT and engineering solutions and one of the top 100 employee-owned companies in the U.S., today announced the addition of John Dyer to its executive team. The former president and CEO of Baronian Consulting Group LLC, will serve as the vice president and director of organizational development/knowledge management (ODKM), in order to strengthen the organization's business development, financial management, and workforce management goals.

Dyer's industry expertise lends itself to his new position, where he will be responsible for the identification and prosecution of new business opportunities and the execution of the programs within the ODKM Directorate within AMERICAN SYSTEMS' Human Capital & Managed Services (HC&MS) offering. In addition to business development, Dyer will oversee all activities related to program, project, and technical performance and contract, financial, and personnel management.

Dyer brings more than 30 years of experience in research, consulting, and management to his position at AMERICAN SYSTEMS. In addition to his leadership role at Baronian Consulting Group, Dyer led business development and organizational development efforts at Digicon Corporation and The CNA Corporation (Center for Naval Analyses). His professional affiliations span multiple industry, state, and federal government organizations, including the Armed Forces Communications & Electronic Association and the National Defense Industrial Association.
