Elsevier Publishes New Chemical Engineering Content

Five New Books Focus on Industrial Distillation, Flow Analysis and Water Reclamation

This content includes three new books on industrial distillation and two additional books on flow analysis and water reclamation. Edited by experts Andrzej Górak, Eva Sorensen, Zarko Olujic and Hartmut Schoenmakers, the three distillation handbooks address the most important and current research on industrial distillation, including all steps in process design, operation and control aspects, and conceptual design. The books present practical information on latest developments with contributions from recognized experts in the field. They also cover a wide range of laboratory and industrial distillation approaches and offer extensive references for each chapter to facilitate further study. Lead editor Professor Andrzej Górak is Chair of Fluid Separations at the Technical University of Dortmund, Germany and Professor at the Technical University of Lódz, Poland. He received his PhD from the Institute of Chemical Engineering at the Technical University of Lódz where he continued his work as a senior researcher. Professor Górak completed his postdoctoral "Habilitation" at RWTH Aachen University and has held additional positions at Henkel KGaA in Düsseldorf and University of Essen, all in Germany. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of Elsevier's journal, Chemical Engineering and Processing: Process Intensification.
