An Opera-trained singer with Swiss and Lebanese heritage, her new album blends traditional Middle Eastern melodies with electronic pop sounds, updating the themes of Oriental music with technological improvements meant to unite listeners of any age and country.

Lama's 5-song album debuts a new genre of music, one that has been likened to a heavily Americanized and international form of Middle Eastern sound. Her first music video of the song "Fashion Girl" is slotted to appear online via her website, social media outlets and online music store platforms such as iTunes.
From a young age, Lama traveled the globe. She learned four languages: English, French, Arabic and German, and was exposed to colorful sounds from a variety of cultures, a habit she continues to this day. This special influence was pivotal in her artistic development, gifting her with the ability to write music and lyrics from a worldwide perspective, something Lama credits as instrumental in allowing her to connect her message with audiences from all walks of life.
With a full cavalcade of original compositions co-written by Lama and Simon Wilcox, the album was produced by Tino Zolfo, administered by Peer International and Tino Zolfo, and mixed and finalized by Sergio Chavez and JB.
