What: The Asian American Multi-technology Association (AAMA), Silicon Valley's largest and most established non-profit organization dedicated to the Asian American high-tech community, invites you to join its annual AAMA 2014 Connect Conference for an engaging discussion on the Future of Enterprise on September 9, 2014 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA.

The full-day conference will bring together more than 200 leading executives, entrepreneurs, investors, thought leaders and researchers from Silicon Valley and Asia to discuss the future of enterprise in a variety of panel discussions and networking opportunities. Charles Fan, senior vice president of R&D at VMware, and Wendy Bergh, vice president, Walmart Global e-Commerce, will lead the keynote speeches at the event.

Barbara Bates, founder and CEO of Eastwick, a leading technology-focused integrated communications firm with deep Silicon Valley roots, will join executives from China Development Industrial Bank, Century Group, AppMagics, SVB Capital China, for a panel discussion on "Bridging Asia and Silicon Valley Enterprises." The panel will be moderated by Dr. Robert P. Lee, chairman, AAMA Board of Trustees, and chairman, AAMA-PRD Chapter.

Panel description: "As China matures into a true bilateral business giant globally, its enterprises have grown from targeting its huge domestic market to global major markets like North America, Europe and South America. This drive is not just about growing sales, but also sourcing talents and innovation. And just like Western companies who years ago tried to enter China and paid dearly for their many mistakes, will the Chinese companies make similar mistakes in their reverse pursuit? Are there opportunities for US corporations and entrepreneurs one must not miss?"
