OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 9, 2014) - The Fellows of the Royal Society of Canada have elected 90 new Fellows, including three Foreign Fellows, three Specially Elected Fellows, and one Honorary Fellow. The newly elected Fellows have diverse backgrounds and disciplines. They have been elected by their peers in recognition of outstanding scholarly, scientific and artistic achievement. Election to the academies of the Royal Society of Canada is the highest honour a scholar can achieve in the Arts, Humanities and Sciences.
