Teq Announces That Valhalla and Mt. Vernon Are Among the First Schools in New York to Purchase the New SMART 6065 Interactive Flat Panel Display

Vernon -- are among the first in the state to purchase the new 65-inch SMART 6065 Interactive Flat Panel Display for use in their schools. The SMART Board 6065 is an interactive, ultra HD display, with improved collaboration capabilities for teachers and students. 

Through the Southern Westchester BOCES, Valhalla School District ordered 27 SMART 6065 Interactive Flat Panel displays and the Mt. Vernon School District purchased nine of them, now being installed for use in the fall.

A smooth, low-friction surface enables teachers and students to easily manipulate objects or write on the screen. The SMART Board 6065 supports up to four touches simultaneously and automatically detects the difference between a finger, pen and eraser, so users don't have to interrupt the flow of a lesson to manually change modes. With the Pen Identification feature, two users can work simultaneously and independently with different colored pens or distinct tools.
