Vendini(R) Acquires In Ticketing(R)

Acquisition Expands Vendini Solution for Live Music Venues and Festivals

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 9, 2014) - Vendini, the company that makes the business of live events simple, today announced the acquisition of In Ticketing, one of the early pioneers in concert and festival ticketing software. This acquisition allows Vendini to expand its market reach even further into the live music space and, along with boosting its roster of live music clients, will broaden its solution with market-proven mobile and social ticketing technology developed by In Ticketing over the past decade.

Vendini has been rapidly increasing market reach, with 2,000 current customers including the University of Santa Clara, Elbo Room, Soho Playhouse, and the XEROX Rochester International Jazz Festival. The strategic acquisition of In Ticketing comes two years after Vendini purchased Dataflow Workspace, which is used by some of the largest and most successful festivals in the country including Burning Man, Electric Forest, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival and Outside Lands.

In Ticketing provides online and box office ticketing for hundreds of venues, promoters, and festivals such as Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, Gathering of the Vibes music festival and the newly-launched Infinity Music Hall in Hartford, CT. In Ticketing innovations such as the InHand Mobile Box office, ScalperGuard fraud prevention/risk management suite and a high-demand ticket lottery platform will now be available through Vendini.

"In Ticketing brings us people and technology as additional fuel for expanding into live music venues and the rapidly growing music festival market," said Vendini President and CEO Mark Tacchi. "This acquisition is part of our expansion plan, giving us additional firepower to continue building out the most innovative event management platform in the industry."

The Vendini solution includes online ticketing, responsive websites, integrated email, social marketing and back office management solutions. The In Ticketing solution adds a far-reaching affiliate network for event promotion, event ticket insurance and extensive reporting features. Vendini will also launch RFID credentialing later this month at the Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion Music Festival.

"Vendini has a proven track record with box office technology. In Ticketing created one of the most intuitive and robust platforms for concerts and festivals. Our clients will benefit from our combined commitment to innovation and excellence," said In Ticketing founder Steve Weisz.

"This is great news for In Ticketing," said Dawn Holliday, Owner-Operator of Slims/Great American Music Hall/Hardly Strictly Bluegrass. "We are excited to join the Vendini family and look forward to this next evolution for our business."
