Montreal Burlesque Festival for a Wild Sixth Edition

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Sept. 18, 2014) - For a sixth year in a row, Montreal Burlesque Festival has for mission to enthral the public and media with three memorable nights that will all take place at Club Soda, on October 16, 17 and 18 of 2014. A bevy of beautiful renown burlesque stars will perform for you majestic acts, some comical, some grand, but all with a twist of celebrating women in all their splendor, hence «Vive les femmes!» as a theme.

You will admire Scarlett James, president and founder of the festival, premiering a couple of new acts, as well as Benjamin Marquis & Christelle and all the pretty hostesses who will be performing each night. The annual burlesque event offers a wide range of new artists, singers and dancers, who will also grace the stage.

An interesting mix of styles will be at the rendez-vous on October 16: from the intoxicating Mlle Loison to the golden voice of Melody, the public will fall under the spell of Pastel Supernova and the startling Billy L'Amour. As for the second night of its sixth edition, the festival will also give you the opportunity to see burlesque artists from around the world, such as Donna Denise, Champagne Mademoiselle and the acrobatic Lucy Love.

For its steamy closing event, the Montreal Burlesque Festival features bold, sexy and deliciously bawdy fun and diversity; the athletic Kage Wolfe, the authoritarian Lulu les belles mirettes and the voluptuous Miss Meow will perform for you. A group act, known as the The Pink Chardonnays, from New York, will be featured.
