OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 18, 2014) - Department of Canadian Heritage
The Honourable Bal Gosal, Minister of State (Sport), today attended the public meeting of the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada (SDRCC), during which the organization marked its 10th anniversary. The SDRCC receives up to $1 million annually through Sport Canada's Sport Support Program.
"For ten years, the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada has provided expertise and assistance in alternative dispute resolution to the Canadian sport community. The Government of Canada is proud to support the SDRCC in its important work of giving our sport community tools to prevent conflicts and helping to resolve them."
-The Honourable Bal Gosal, Minister of State (Sport)
"This year the SDRCC celebrates its 10th anniversary, and we are honored to host the Honourable Bal Gosal, Minister of State (Sport), on this special occasion. In that short timeframe, we have evolved into a model of accessible world-class dispute resolution and prevention services operation available to the Canadian sport community. Our organization is now internationally recognized as a leader in sport dispute resolution. This would not be possible without the very generous contribution and support of the Government of Canada."
-Allan J. Sattin, Q.C., Chairperson of the SDRCC Board of Directors
