The Government of Canada will pursue its efforts to promote the growth of the snowmobile industry
CHICOUTIMI, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Sept. 20, 2014) - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)
The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, will be guest speaker at the annual convention of the Fédération des clubs de motoneigistes du Québec (FCMQ). The topics of discussion will include the efforts the Government of Canada has made to support the development of this industry, among others, in its equipment acquisition and trail upgrade projects.
From 2006 to the present day, CED has awarded more than $20 million for 165 projects, representing investments of almost $40 million in Quebec's regions.
