About Donald McCarty
Donald McCarty is a trainer, speaker, writer and consultant advising on how to extend the life of copper to deliver increased bandwidth and consistent service through triple play. He has been hired by the largest Telco's in the industry and has lectured and taught around the world. In addition to his consulting and training company, McCarty Products Inc., Donald is and has been the most popular monthly columnist for Outside Plant Magazine for 30 years.

McCarty began his telephone career as an outside plant technician working as a lineman, cable splicer, cable maintenance technician and a cable tester.
