Showcasing Arab Culture in the Montreal Region: Government of Canada Supports the Festival du Monde Arabe de Montreal


MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - Sept. 24, 2014) - Department of Canadian Heritage

The Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, today announced $45,000 in funding for the 15th Festival du Monde Arabe de Montréal (Arab World Festival of Montréal), which will take place from October 24 to November 8, 2014.

This funding, provided through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund, will make it possible to offer a diverse program celebrating interculturality and promoting cultural exchange between Canada and the countries of the Middle East and Maghreb.
