CentriLogic Launches Advanced Technology Services Business Unit

ROCHESTER, NY--(Marketwired - Sep 25, 2014) - CentriLogic, a global provider of managed hosting, cloud computing, co-location and advanced IT outsourcing solutions, today announces its new Advanced Technology Services business unit. The service offerings help organizations streamline IT infrastructure and application management through a comprehensive managed services program with CentriLogic.

The new business unit was developed to fulfill the infrastructure and application management challenges experienced by several of its existing customers. CentriLogic currently offers professional services and on-demand support to all hosting customers, but the Advanced Technology Services unit extends its managed services capabilities by helping customers plan, transition, and implement a fully managed IT model. New services include:

• Data Center Consolidation: Physical and virtual migration of enterprise level data center components to new locations.
• Managed Applications: Ongoing management of enterprise applications, including PeopleSoft, SalesForce.com, and Email.
• Managed IT: 24/7/365 management and monitoring of critical IT infrastructure and systems, including Managed UNIX, Databases, VMware & Hyper-V, Active Directory, and Helpdesk.
• Managed Data: On and off-premise management of Databases, Backups, and Storage.
• Managed Network: Network infrastructure management including managed routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, Load Balancers, and Security Services.

These services remove the day-to-day support tasks and management activities for both on and off-premise infrastructure and applications from a customer's internal IT team, allowing them to focus on more strategic projects and initiatives. The business unit will be supported by a team of CentriLogic employees worldwide with plans to increase headcount based on customer demand. CentriLogic's Director of Advanced Technology Services John Abbett will run the business unit, reporting directly to President and CEO Robert Offley.
