AGENDA Conference Unveils Inaugural Digital Edge Awards for Transforming Business

Nominations for Award at Event Produced by CIO, Computerworld and the CIO Executive Council to Be Accepted Through November 3, 2014

FRAMINGHAM, MA--(Marketwired - Sep 25, 2014) - The AGENDA conference, produced by the IDG Enterprise media brands CIO and Computerworld and the CIO Executive Council (CEC), is the all-new business leadership conference focused on transforming business for the digital world. AGENDA15 today announced the call for nominations for its inaugural Digital Edge Awards, recognizing enterprises that have leveraged digital technologies to transform their business. Nominations will be accepted through November 3, 2014, and 25 winners will be honored onsite at the AGENDA conference, March 30-April 1, 2015, at Amelia Island, Florida.

Projects nominated for Digital Edge recognition must have sponsorship from a business stakeholder and a technology executive, demonstrating the partnership that is essential for innovation and change.

"In the digital business environment in which most industries now operate, success will increasingly depend on every business leader having a strategic digital vision and focus," said conference co-chair Rick Pastore, vice president of strategy for the CIO Executive Council. "For the Digital Edge awards, we are focusing on the cross-functional business leadership that drives that success."

All entries will be judged by a panel of editors and executive peers who will be evaluating projects on sophistication, scale and business outcomes, among other criteria. Winning organizations will receive complimentary conference passes to the AGENDA conference for the business and technology project leaders.

"This award will celebrate those organizations that have been able to transform their operations, product development or depth of customer engagement to drive new revenue or profit using the latest digital technologies," said Anne McCrory, vice president of marketing and content strategy for the IDG Enterprise events team. "This can be any combination of mobile, social, cloud and analytics technology."

Nominations may be made by project stakeholders and technology vendors on behalf of clients. The nomination form is available here.
