KINGSTON, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 25, 2014) - The Honourable Ed Holder, Minister of State (Science and Technology), will introduce the newest Canada Excellence Research Chair (CERC) as part of an official welcoming ceremony at Queen's University. The CERC Program attracts talented researchers who are world leaders in their respective scientific fields, strengthening Canada's own leadership in research, post-secondary education, and science and technology development. Before the announcement, Minister of State Holder will tour the Physics Museum in the Physics Department (Stirling Hall, 64 Bader Lane). Media are invited to join the tour.
