Golf Canada receives Government of Canada funding to host the World Junior Girls Golf Championship
MARKHAM, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 27, 2014) - On behalf of the Honourable Bal Gosal, Minister of State (Sport), John Carmichael, Member of Parliament (Don Valley West), today announced $50,000 in funding to Golf Canada. This funding, provided through Sport Canada's Hosting Program, supports the hosting of the World Junior Girls Golf Championship being held at the Angus Glen Golf Club in Markham, Ontario, from September 26 to October 1, 2014.
