LOWELL, MA--(Marketwired - Sep 30, 2014) - TRC Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRR), a recognized leader in engineering, consulting and construction management services to the energy, environmental and infrastructure markets, today announced it has acquired NOVA Safety & Environmental (NOVA), based in Midland, Texas. NOVA's approximately 60 employees provide safety training, environmental services as well as oil spill response, remediation and general oil field construction services to customers in the oil and gas industry. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. NOVA reported gross revenues of $16.5 million for the year ended December 31, 2013. TRC expects the transaction to be immediately accretive.
