Doing What Matters Global Trade & Logistics Sector to Host Chinese Delegation

California Community Colleges Facilitating Academic and Business Community Collaboration

OAKLAND, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 24, 2014) - The Global Trade & Logistics Deputy Sector Navigators for the Doing What Matters initiative will host a visiting delegation from China at the Port of Oakland on October 30, 2014, as part of its ongoing effort to build relationships and collaboration within and between the academic and business communities. 

The twenty delegates represent China, City Wuhan Education Bureau, Wuhan Business University, and Jianghan University and are in the SF Bay Area to learn more about the operations of major cargo companies and the best practices in business logistics and supply chain management from the perspective of American companies, and to discuss the growth and future of Global Logistics.
