Wee-Cig Enters the French Speaking Market


NEW YORK, Oct. 27, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wee-Cig International Corporation (OTC Pinksheets:WCIG) reports that the Company has recently hired a French speaking sales staff in order to tap into the French speaking market. The French speaking population from France and Quebec, Canada have had a long history with smoking and using tobacco like products. In fact smoking has been considered a cultural norm to the French worldwide. With 66 million people in France and 8.18 million in Quebec respectively, Wee-Cig would like to tap into this market niche. Most retailers have ignored the French speaking segment of the market focusing on more mainstream English speaking markets.

France has been an advocate for the medical use of cannabis and medical marijuana. In fact France's ministry of health announced recently that it has approved a cannabis-based mouth spray known as Sativex, a move that brings France in line with 17 other European countries, which allows marijuana to be prescribed for medical reasons.
