CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Oct. 29, 2014) - Calgary, the weather is getting chilly and the Calgary Food Bank is just getting busier! In preparation for Christmas, Calgarians are even more generous than ever, and there are many events to prove that. Check out all of these great events coming up in the month of November.

Alberta Motors Association - Fill Our Fleet

November 17th - December 12th

All Calgary AMA Centres

The season of giving is upon us at AMA is pleased to announce its third annual Fill Our Fleet campaign. They will again be filling their fleet with non-perishable food and unwrapped toy donations for local charities across the province to help make the holiday season more heartwarming for Alberta families. Donations will be accepted at all AMA Centres from November 17th to December 12th and will be delivered to the local charities in time for the holidays.

26th Annual Mayor's Christmas Food Drive Kick-Off

November 21st, 12:30-1:30PM

Aspen Landing Safeway - 375 Aspen Glen Landing SW

The kick-off event for the 26th Mayor's Annual Christmas Food Drive has become a fun-filled and competitive morning between teams who race to fill their shopping cart with food items that they will use to create a pre-chosen CANstruction theme. Mayor Naheed Nenshi will then determine the winner of the coveted Golden Shopping Cart award.

Knox United Choral Festival

November 29th - December 1st

Knox United Church - 506 4 St SW

Join the Knox United Church for 3 evenings of Calgary's best choirs. This annual event attracts Calgarians from all over the city. Cash and food donations will be taken at the door for the Calgary Food Bank.

18 Wheels of Christmas

November 29th

Save On Goods Walden - 155 Walden Gate SE

It's on again! The festively decorated 18 Wheels of Christmas truck and trailer will be on site at the Save-On-Foods in Walden on Saturday, November 29th, and Santa will be there to thank you for your donations

The Huron Carole - A Musical

December 18th - 7:30PM

Jack Singer Concert Hall - 225 8 Ave SE
