Escape from Edmonton Institution for Women


EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Nov. 2, 2014) - Correctional Service Canada

On November 2, 2014 during the 4:00 p.m. count, staff members at Edmonton Institution for Women a multi-level security federal institution, discovered that Patricia May McKenzie was not accounted for.

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) immediately contacted the Edmonton Police Service and a warrant for her arrest has been issued.

Patricia May McKenzie is 40 years old, measures 157 cm (5'2") in height and weighs 55 kg (122 lbs). She has a fair complexion, green eyes and red hair. She is currently serving a sentence of 2 years, 5 months, 3 days for Trafficking in a Schedule I/II Substance, Possession of a Schedule I/II Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking and Failing to Comply With a Probation Order, .

Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Patricia May McKenzie is asked to contact police.

CSC will investigate the circumstances of this incident and is working with the police to locate the offender as quickly as possible.

CSC has given the police all of the information available to help arrest the inmate.
